After each job, customers rate service providers providing valuable feedback for all other users. Only registered users can read customer reviews and vendor ratings.
Every proposal is unique. Each provides detail about cost specific to your project. Pricing will include the cost processing equipment, reporting, certificates of destruction, logistics, and special services if requested. It will also include remarketing proceeds if your equipment has resale value.
Service providers are located all over the country and pick up equipment from your facility. Service providers search for you, not the other way around, and bid on your work.
Simply post your project. Service Providers will respond with proposals. Select the proposal that best fits your needs, budget, and timing, and we will take it from there.
ITADCentral provides services to businesses and organizations of any size. There is no size constraint. We can handle a single server in San Francisco, or one thousand laptops in Laredo. We believe that IT disposal should be an on-going process rather than a periodic event.
Dispose of any type IT equipment including desktop computer, notebooks, printers, monitors, handhelds, servers, etc. They also handle networking gear, imaging equipment, medical devices, copiers, and telephone systems. If you have a question about your specific equipment, please contact us.
That depends on several factors. Our goal is to help you find the right provider for a project at the right price.
Most projects receive several proposals. Factors impacting the number of proposals include the type of equipment, quantity of equipment, timing requirements, location, site-specific requirements, budget expectations, and previous projects posted.
Naturally, the more attractive a project, the more proposals you should expect to receive. Each project is reviewed before it is posted by ITADCentral staff to help ensure there is adequate information for Service Providers to determine an accurate estimate.
Not a problem. The closer the estimate the better. You are booking based on the estimated amount of equipment. You will only pay for the actual amount of equipment.
Normally this is not a problem. If the crew can get it, they usually will. If they can’t, you can book another pickup.
If you need to make any changes to your booked order, such as the date, time, hours booked, or the amount of equipment, you may request those changes by calling, emailing or chatting with ITADCentral. Your selected Provider will review those changes and verify it they are able to accommodate.
If the Provider cannot make those alterations, ITADCentral will work with you to seek out other assistance.
ITADCentral ensures that all data and software are removed from all electronic media. Hard drive erasure procedures adhere to NIST standards. Inoperable hard drives are physically destroyed. Onsite destruction and certified data destruction options are also available.
You don’t. The standard ITADCentral service includes pick up at any of your locations. All you need to do is tell us what you have, where it is located, and when to be there. All we ask that you have the equipment de-installed and in a central location.

No. Service Providers are independent contractors.
Ensuring quality ITAD services is our business. ITADCentral only works with certified Service Providers who follow industry best practices and adhere to ITADCentral requirements. ITADCentral verifies credentials and continuously monitors Service Provider performance, including client feedback.
Yes. Service Providers must maintain commercial general liability insurance to cover bodily injury and property damage, commercial automobile liability insurance, workers compensation and employer’s liability insurance, professional liability insurance, and umbrella liability insurance
Yes. ITADCentral requires all Service Providers perform criminal background checks.
Before the pickup
Service Provider will schedule directly with you to arrange a convenient time for the pickup. To obtain updates on arrival on the day of the pickup, please contact your selected Service Provider directly. Service Provider are to inform you directly of any delays or early arrival time possibilities.
After scheduling your services, you will receive a confirmation email which will include contact information. To ensure quality of service, Clients should use the Private Messaging feature of the ITADCentral platform.
During the pickup
Yes. Service Provider perform onsite packing and agree to adhere to industry accepted shipping and security requirements.
Service Provider will bring all necessary packing materials and supplies based on specifics of the project. Service Provider package items for shipment in a manner that ensures safe transport and handling, both on and off the truck.
In the event of a late arrival, please contact your selected Service Provider directly. If you cannot reach them within a reasonable amount of time, please contact our office. We will step in and help you get in contact with the crew or help you find an alternate crew.
Always contact your Service Provider first to get any updates on their arrival time. If you cannot reach them for any reason, please contact our office. We will help you find a replacement crew, if necessary. We do track no-shows in our system and encourage you to leave a review in the event the Service Provider does not arrive.
After the pickup
Please contact your Service Provider and ITADCentral to report damages and request any necessary claim forms. Please be sure to contact your Service Provider immediately as it is ideal to point it out when it happens.
Contact your Service Provider and allow them the opportunity to address these concerns. If the issue is not resolved, you may leave a review describing your experience.
The only time we will remove a review is if it contains profanity, racism, reference to other companies, and/or details to be considered inappropriate or untruthful. We want to make sure reviews are accurate representations of the customer experience without offending customers who may read them. We do not remove reviews upon a Service Providers’ request.
The only details that will be displayed are your profile name and the city where the services took place.
Although we do not remove reviews under a Service Provider request, we do allow them to reply to reviews.
